I. Pre-Booking
After you submit your inquiry, I’ll reach out via email to discuss availability (please check your spam/junk folder if you don't receive it in your inbox within 24 hours). Once we agree on a date I will send a questionnaire for session choice and location preference. After that is submitted I will send a deposit request to hold your date!
II. Post-Booking
Yay! You will receive a Style Guide to guide your wardrobe decisions as well as what to expect at your shoot! We will discuss specifics of time and location via email.
III. The Memories
You will receive your preliminary gallery within a week of session date. You will then select your favorites for retouching. The final gallery will be delivered 3 weeks from session date.
FAQ
I. What if I don't think kids will last that long?
We have SO much fun at sessions. We race, toss kids around, look for shells, cuddle, tickle party, splash around (at the end). It's an adventure for sure.
II. Will you help me with wardrobe?
Of course! I absolutely love this part. After you read the Style Guide it'll be a breeze. Include me on your shopping trip (via text) and I'm happy to help!
III. What should I bring to my session?
If you have a beach session, bring a towel, maybe a bottle of water and a change of clothes if you plan to get wet. If you want to bribe a child (all for it!) maybe use a toy or ice cream AFTER the shoot. Bringing treats to the shoot takes up time waiting for them to chew and it risks mouth and clothes staining.
IV. How long does it take to receive the final gallery?
3 weeks from session date.
V. What if it rains?
I don't over book my schedule so in the chance of inclement weather we have other options. We will make the call before you start getting ready. If hair and makeup were booked we make the call before your appointment. Often times rain IS in the forecast but it typically clears before sunset.
